SAM is a wonderful 71 pound hound mix who was picked up and taken to the Big Bear Shelter right before the Cedar Pines fire destroyed his home. With his family without a home, they were unable to reclaim SAM and poor SAM stayed in the shelter for 5 weeks before he was rescued by BMDR. He was so sad! SAM is so loving, adores people, friendly, rides well in the car and just wants a new loving, forever home. As you can see by the smile on his face, he's so happy to have a second chance at having that long, super life that he was dreaming about while sitting in the shelter for those 5 weeks.
